General standard therms and conditions

Absolute Powder is a pure online advertising platform for private ski instructors of Klosters-Davos region. The ski instructors listed work independently. Each booking will be concluded directly between the ski instructors and the customer. Contractors are ski instructors and customer. AbolutePowder is never contractor.

Any special agreements between ski instructors and customer take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.

If a ski instructor has its own terms and conditions apply these and not the terms and conditions of AbsolutePowder.

In order to make the text more clearly the terms and conditions are written in the masculine form. They apply to the female form.

Booking / Confirmation

A booking is considered final when it was confirmed by the ski instructor verbally, by telephone, in writing, by text message or by email.

Withdrawal / Cancellation

If you cancel a booking less than 30 days before it begins, the following cancellation charges apply:
30 to 10 days before the course: 50% of the agreed price.
9 to 0 days before the course: 100% of the agreed price.

Program changes

Instruction takes place in all weather conditions. In case of too bad weather, unfavourable conditions or unforeseen circumstances the ski instructor has right to change the program. The agreed days are performed at a different location.

Insurance

All ski instructors are in possession of professional liability insurance in according with swiss law. Accident insurance and health insurance are the participant’s responsibility. Additionally we recommend that you have insurance to cover cancellation cost. The ski instructor refuse all liability for accidents that occur during lessons.

Safety

On and off the slopes the ski instructor cannot guarantee absolute security. Sport and physical activity in the mountains contain a naturally given residual risk. The client must follow all safety relevant instructions of the ski instructor. The client must communicate any concerns and physical or mental problems to the ski instructor on time.

Language

The language of the General standard therms and conditions is German. In case of discrepancy between the English and the German text, the German text has priority. The translation into the English language is for information only.

Legal venue

Exclusive legal venue is the ski instructors place of residence. In case of a lawsuit exclusively Swiss law is applied.
